Double Dancer is a kinetic wind sculpture by Lyman Whitaker, a Utah sculptor with more than fifty years in the craft. The last three decades spent almost entirely on wind pieces, each one hand-built and balanced to turn on the lightest breeze.

Two rotating stainless steel forms mirror and counter each other as the wind moves through the vines. The choreography that gives the piece its name.

Whitaker's work sits in public and private collections worldwide, from roundabouts in Utah to exhibitions in Milan. We're glad to have one turning quietly here, catching the light as it moves.
